Yanadr

The Yanadr were the first people to settle Udroth during its creation. In the Dawn Age they participated in building the world together with their Old Gods.

They are mainly found in Urandayed and Izbred, although communities in Dhinaem also exist.

Most of them worship the Old Gods in one form or another, which often put them at odds with the Aethliri Empire.

Three main branches of Yanadr exist: Uranic Yanadr, Izbredic Yanadr, and the Dirrha.

  • Uranic Yanadr. The most numerous of the Yandr, the inhabitants of Urandayed and the most staunch supporters of Uran and the Old Gods. They often rebelled against the Aethliri Empire.
  • Izbredic Yanadr. A group of Yanadr that left Urandayed during the Dawn Age and settled Izbred has mixed views of the Old Gods, ranging from reverence close to the practices of their Urandayedi relatives to indifference due to their departure from Udroth.
  • The Dirrha. The smallest of the three groups, the Dirrha never worshipped Uran or the Old Gods, settling in remote reaches of Dhinaem where eternal rain pours from the World’s Ceiling.
