Age of History
The era of the Aethliri Empires' height.
Age of History is the second age in history of Udroth, that followed the Age of Creation. Written sources begin to appear at this time, although in the earlier times they are still very scarce. The Age of History can be divided into three major periods by the number of the Aethliri Empire, and two wars between them.
- First Aethliri Empire. Times of imperial rule were somewhat uneventful. Izbredic Heroes lead crusades against remaining aradh worshippers in Arwadek and Kwod. Imperial inquisitors attempt to convert heretics in Urandayed, Kwod and Arwadek. Their attempts are often thwarted by minor local rebellions.
- The Dragon War. Dragons invade from Kilruzurtar, initially praising Uran, but then switching to Aradh Worship upon reaching Arwadek due to its corrupting influence. Urandayed successfully rebells, but rejoins the empire to defend against the dragons, in return demands religious tolerance
- Second Aethliri Empire. Exarchs rebuild the empire, but with significant regional autonomy.
- The Exarch Wars. Autonomy leads to many conflicts erupting between the exarchates. Their rulers refuse to obey the emperor.
- Third Aethliri Empire Exarch of Izbred joins forces with the emperor in Aethlirin and reunites the empire. Now governors are much weaker, have less territory, and obey the emperor directly. Ended with The Great Sealing during Zurkan Invasions
